Abstract

The possibility of existence of a new type of superfluidity of the deuteron system in a metal with the number of dissolved deuterium atoms comparable with the number of atoms of the metal is discussed. If we assume that the Bose condensation of deuterons (bosons) occurs when their number density is large, the transition of the d-system to the superfluid state is possible in principle. Since deuterons are charged, such a superfluidity will be accompanied by a peculiar superconductivity.
