Abstract

It is found that at certain frequencies, the loss resistance in a yttrium ceramic sample at temperatures above the critical temperature increases with decreasing temperature (semiconductor behavior), remains unchanged or decreases (metal behavior). The imaginary component of the impedance of the ceramics is of metal type both with decreasing temperature, and with increasing frequency.
