Abstract
Laser probing technique is used to study the local dependences of the resistive response of the N–S boundary to laser radiation over a wide range of currents and temperatures. It is shown that the spatial characteristics of the response qualitatively reflect the behavior of the nonequilibrium region connected with the N–S boundary. It is proposed that the N–S boundary be used as a coordinate-sensitive microdetector of optical radiation.
