Abstract
We consider behavior of low-temperature ferro- and antiferromagnets of the easy-plane type with spin s = 1 in a magnetic field oriented at a small angle to the crystal’s principal axis. Behavior of ferromagnets is shown to depend on field orientation. In the case of antiferromagnet, magnetization anomalies can arise at comparatively large angles due to the finite magnitude of the spin moment.
