Abstract

The possibility of the emergence of noticeable Cooper correlations and gaps in the energy spectrum of a system of 3He atoms adsorbed on complex substrates of the type Grafoil covered by a hydrogen monolayer is studied. The dependence of the coupling constant and gap on the monolayer density, concentration of adsorbed atoms, and the extent of coupling with the substrate is determined. Conditions leading to the enhancement of singlet correlations and a possible increase in the energy gap are formulated.
