Optical properties of bismuth films

Abstract

Optical absorption spectra of Bi films are studied in the visible, infrared and ultraviolet spectral regions in the temperature range 4.2–300 K. The spectra of absorption and interband transition energy are compared with Fal’kovskii’s theoretical analysis for bismuth.
