Hydrodynamic approach for describing magnetic properties of <i>β</i>- phase of solid oxygen

Abstract

The symmetry analysis developed by I. M. Vitebskii and N. M. Lavrinenko {Fiz. Nizk. Temp. 19, 535 (1993) [Low Temp. Phys. 19, 380 (1993)]} and the method of quasi-averages are used to describe the statistical equilibrium state of β-oxygen. The consistent microscopic derivation of the equations of motion is based on a brief description technique (functional hypothesis).
