Abstract

Measurement of the rate sensitivity of the deforming stress and an analysis of the obtained experimental data by the theory of thermally activated plasticity are used to study the effect of doping and aging on the physical mechanisms determining the mechanical properties of Al–Li alloys at low temperatures.
