Abstract

Changes in oscillations of persistent spin and charge currents in a metal ring with a magnetic impurity as compared to the impurity-free case are predicted. It is shown that the impurity is manifested in interactions of electron spin degrees of freedom, which is reflected in a change in the period of Aharonov–Casher oscillations.
