Abstract

The temperature dependence of the principal values of the magnetic susceptibility of KDy(MoO4)2 single crystals in the temperature interval 0.5−300 K and the field dependences of magnetization in magnetic fields up to 14 kOe in the temperature range 0.5−4.2 K are studied. Combined application of the data of crystal structure, EPR magnetization and magnetic susceptibility investigations has made it possible to explain the observed magnetic properties of KDy(MoO4)2 and to determine the type of its magnetic structure.
