Abstract
A “paramagnetic” mechanism is proposed for resistive losses in layered superconductors due to magnetic polarization of fluctuation vortex loops by the field of a moving Josephson vortex. This mechanism is significant for the temperature range in which the layered structure of the system becomes a decisive factor, and high-intensity quasi-two-dimensional fluctuations in the form of vortex–antivortex pairs determine the superconducting properties of the system.
