Abstract
The elastic moduli have been measured in single crystals of the system La2−xSrxCuO4. Considerable anisotropy is observed in the elastic moduli of monodomainized samples with x = 0. For x = 0.13, jumps in the series of elastic moduli during tetra-ortho structural transformation are determined. The theory of elastic properties of multidomain samples is constructed.
