A bibliography of Rotuma

A comprehensive Bibliography of items concerning the island of Rotuma over the last 200 years is presented, comprising over 900 entries including books, journal and newspaper articles, microfilm and audiovisual records, dissertaions, and unpublished manuscripts in a wide variety of fields. The amount of material has been steadily increasing over the years, being relatively heterogenous in content and reaching a peak in the present decade (1990-2000). It is hoped that information contained in this publication will benefit all those with an interest in the unique island and people of Rotuma, whether they be scholars of Pacific history, scientists, or Rotuman islanders wanting to find out more about their home island and cultural roots.
