Abstract

The neutron intensity from the spontaneous fission of U 238 has been measured by the BF 3 proportional counter tube and the Li 6 glass scintillator. The neutron emission rate is 28 neutrons per kilogram depleted Uranium per second , and in coincidence with calculation.
