Abstract
In order to perform the detection of pulsed fission neutron from high-inertly radiation sources, a slot-calibrated device to reduce sensitivity was designed and 2.5 MeV neutron sensitivity has been measured. It is shown that the experiments result can be one tenth of the shield-collimation neutron sensitivity if the slot-calibrated scintillating device has been put into use, which are made up of slot-calibrated shield-collimation and scintillating detector. Also, the application of scintillating detector for pulsed fission neutron could be broadened.
