Variation Regularity on Seedling Height Growth of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica in Different Germplasm Resources and Families
Abstract
The variation on height grwth of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica was analysed. The materials are two years old seedlings in Qingshan forest farm of Linkou County. The results show that there are rich variations within and between germplasm resources, which the variation parameter fluctuates from 21.1% to 22.9 % and the average level is 22.3 % . The differences of seedling height growth among three germplasm resources have reached the marked level. The height growth of Gulian germ-plasm resource is the fastest and that of Shibazhan germplasm resource is the slowest. There are abundant of variations within and between the families in every germplasm resource too. The variation parameter is from 12.8% to 30.1% and the average level is 19.38% .The average height of the three families whose growth is fastest is 27.9 cm, and that of the slowest three families is 19.8 cm.The height growth of the former is 41% faster than that of the latter.
