Improvement of SCTA parameters

Abstract

Objective To improve the image quality of SCTA by optimizing various parameters. Methods The proper area, time, method of enhanced scan were determined. Ultravist on velocity of 2.5-4.5 mL/s (for adults, 1.5 mL/kg) was injected. Results Clear SCTA images were achieved in 120 patients, with clear pictures of the site, diameter and shape of aneurysm, which could provide precise point of operation for intra-vessel embolism. Conclusion The optimized parameters of SCTA could improve image quality.
