Abstract
The mechanochemical stability of glasses in the Ge1 − x − y Sn y Te x system is investigated. It is found that tin in Ge1 − x − y Sn y Te x vitreous alloys forms a system of sp 3 chemical bonds and that Ge1 − x Sn x Te solid solutions are formed in crystalline alloys. The dispersion of glasses at room temperature in air is accompanied by the precipitation of the SnO2 amorphous phase.
