Influence of Termite Harm on Eucalypt Explant Induction and Its Control Measures

Abstract

In this paper, influence of termite harm on eucalypt explant induction was studied in tissue culture, the results were showed: the contamination rates of explant from the damaged eucalypt were increased evidently,even to 100%, and led explant induction to failure. Further the explant induction experiments of four controls were performed,the results were showed that the cutting method was effective to reduce termite influence on explant induction.
