Grafting Technique of Castanea mollssima with Quercus L.

Abstract

Take oakwood as the stock,select the vigorous and healthy chestnut branch as the scion,the methods of V-shaped grafting,bark grafing and tongue grafting,used for grafting were obtained successfully.Through field managements of eliminating tiller,straighting holds,disease preventing and controlling and so on,the chestnut-oak grafting seedlings grow well and appear the advantages of anti-frost damage and high seed-bearing quantity.
