Abstract

The 89Y(n,2n)88Y cross sections in 13.5～14.8 MeV induced by D-T neutrons have been measured, using the activation method and related measurement technology.89Y(n,2n)88Y cross sections are 629-1053 mb. The relative accuracy is 1. 7%. The results were compared with the experiment result by using large liquid scintillator and with the cross section data of ENDF/B-6 base, the ratio of ENDF/B-6 data to experiment values in 14. 1 MeV is 0. 99.
