Abstract

The height growth of two-year-old Picea koraiensis that concluded 5 provenances were analyzed. The result showed that there were rich variations among provenances and the variation parameter fluctuates from 25.6% to 31.2%,and the average is 28.28%.The differences of seedling height growth among five provenances reach the extreme marked level. The height growth of Jixi provenance(11.5cm)and Keshiketeng provenance(11.3cm)were the greatest and which exceed Tahe provenance(9.05cm),the lowest provenance,27.07% and 24.86% respectively. There were significant variance among families for each provenance, and the variation parameter among the Keshiketeng provenance families was the largest range which from 22.1% to 35.3% and the average level was 27.53%.Among the Keshiketeng families,C15 and C12 was the highest and lowest respectively, and the former exceed the later 62.4%.The result showed that there was significant variance in seeding height growth among families for each provenance.
