Preparation of Domperidone Dispersible Tablets

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To optimize the preparation craft and the formula of Domperidone Dispersible Tablets.METHODS The adjuvant like disintegrant etc.,the formula and preparation process were optimized by a series of Orthogonal experiments.The dissolution rates of the principal agent in dispersible tablets and conventional tablets were determined and compared.RESULTS and CONCLUSION Optimized formula: Domperidone 10g,starch 25g,lactose 50g,crospolyvinylpyrrolidone 10g,aspartame 1g,magnesium stearate 1g,5%polyvidone in water,to make 1000 tablets.The dissolution rate of the dispersible tablet was faster than conventional tablets.
