14MeV neutron reaction cross sections measurement of ~(197)Au and other nuclei using activation method

Abstract

Using activation method,the 14MeV neutron reaction cross sections of 197Au and other nuclei have been measured.At 14.75MeV incident neutrons,197Au(n,2n)196Au cross section is 2175mb 76mb.The experimental results are compared with the experimental data of other authors and evaluated data from ENDF/B-6.Some uncertainties have been analysized with MCNP program.
