Monte Carlo Algorithm for Calculating Neutron Sensitivity of Recoil Proton Detection System

Abstract

For intensive transient neutron measurement,PIN detectors are frequently employed to detect recoil protons from neutron elastic scattering in polyethylene foil.This paper presents an algorithmand correponding flow chat for fast calculation of neutron sensitivity of recoil proton detection system based on an expression suitable for Monte Carlo simulation.
