The Existent Problems and Countermeasures of Camellia Oil Industry in Gannan

Abstract

Camellia tree is an important woody oil species in southern China.This article comprehensively analyses the status quo and identifies the problems in the development of camellia oil industry in Gannan area.It also proposes the following ideas and measures:to develop the camellia oil industry in Gannan:to spread improved cultivars and robust seedlings,enlarge areas of camellia oil plantations,improve management,administration and yields,cultivate organically,convert different forest stands,develop camellia oil processing enterprises and to create famous name brands.
