Abstract

The kinetic equation in a countercurrent hydrogen-water isotope catalytic exchange reaction was derived. In glass bed packed with 1∶4 Sandwich layers of Pt-PTFE catalyst and stainless steel θ packing, effects of temperature(T)and ratio of gas-liquid(λ)on rate constant k were discussed, and the difference between rate constant k and mass transfer coefficient Kya were compared. The results show that k is increased with T and λ increasing.Kya is more sensitive to T and gas velocity than that of k.
