The Pulse Power Supply System of ns-200 Neutron Generator

Abstract

The principles of nano-second pulse system and pulse power supply system of ns-200 neutron generator is desribed.The pulse supply system is composed of scanner power supply and buncher power supply that consist of sythesizer of frequency,intermediate amplifier,power amplifier and auxiliary DC power supply.The frequency of scanner power supply is 3 MHz,max voltage without distortion is 2.3 kV.The frequency of buncher power supply is 6 MHz,max voltage without distortion is 4.8 kV.Pulse neutrons were obtained by operating ns-200 neutron generator,and its frequency is 6 MHz,FWHM≤3.3 ns,FWTM≤10 ns.
