Experimental Research on Measuring Neutron Parameters of the Tubular Isotope Target

Abstract

The principle and method for the measurement of neutronic parameters of the tubular isotope target is presented.The result shows that the flux depression factor is 0.386 6.The thermal neutron fluence rates and cadmium ratios are 9.468×109 cm-2/s,2.100,and 6.170×109 cm-2/s,1.753 for the internal flow duct and external surface at the reactor power level of 2 kW respectively,which are important bases on which calculations of the amount of heat and yield,design verification of target duct and analysis of its performance for its irradiation would be conducted.
