Focusing Z-Pinch High Power Density Soft X-ray by Using Lens

Abstract
In order to obtain high power density soft X-ray without other particles by combining lens with plasma radiant point,the experimental results of measuring transmission capabilities for the X-ray capillary and lens on Qiang-Guang Ⅰ facility are presented.It is shown that,for the capillary manufactured of glass DM308,basically,the power density of the soft X-ray that comes out of the capillary is linear with power density of the incident soft X-ray with the range of 6~15 MW/cm2;the power density 2.1 GW/cm2 of soft X-ray without plasma fragment can be obtained at focal point of the lens.
