Application of Monte-carlo Method in Lead-activation Measurement System

Abstract

The influence of the front thickness of the lead sheath on the sensitivity of the detective system is simulated by monte-carlo method in lead-activation system,through which the optimum thickness of the lead is determined.The results of simulation accord basically with the reported results of formular calculation and experimental measurement.
