Synthesis of aceclofenac

Abstract

OBJECTIVE To establish a new synthetic route of aceclofenac.METHODS Aceclofenac was prepared from sodium dichlorophenolate and tert-Butyl bromoacetate,catalyzed by aluminum chloride in propionic acid,then recrystallized with acetone.RESULTS The product quality came up to the state food and drug administration YBH11202004.CONCLUSION This route was stable and had a high yield,the product met with the legal standard and easily to industrial production.
