Development of Corporate Governance in Conditions of Transition Economy of Uzbekistan

Abstract

This paper is about development of corporate governance in Uzbekistan during its transition to the market economy. The reforms being implemented for improvement of national corporate governance system, the measures undertaken by the government for improvement of corporate relations in the joint-stock companies, the stages of progressing corporate governance, and the future prospects of corporate governance development in Uzbekistan are described in this paper.
