Abstract
Many countries have realised the importance of a transition to a green economy and have formulated precise scenarios, although the main emphasis relies on the application of renewable energy technologies. Considering the contemporary economic prosperity of developing countries, there is a great demand to enhance the infrastructure of investment for renewable energy as developed nations have already developed strategies for actions. Practical evidence of the dissemination of renewable energy technologies in Uzbekistan is provided, which stimulates the process of transition to green economy in the country.
