Study on the Tech nique of Lycium barbarum Rapid Propagation of Hardwood Cuttings in Container
Abstract
To short the growing-seedling period of Lycium barbarum, speed up the reproductive and find the appropriate cutting medium. the experiment set up 5 different cutting propagation media: S1(thin cotton sand 1∶forest soil 5∶loessial soil 1), S2(thin cotton sand 1∶forest soil 4∶loessial soil 2), S3(thin cotton sand 1∶forest soil 3∶loessial soil 3), S4(thin cotton sand 3.5∶forest soil 0∶loessial soil 3.5), S5(thin cotton sand 0∶forest soil 0∶ loessial soil 7). Statisticed by observing rootage duration, germination, survival rate, shoot length and seedling ground diameter and other indicators for survival and growth,and then to compare and analyse the 5 different cutting propagation media having an effect on survival and growth of Lycium barbarum hardwood cuttings. The results showed that, in the conditions of greenhouse, the appropriate cutting medium was the S1(thin cotton sand 1: forest soil 5: loessial soil 1) of sterile nutrient soil.
