Two Kinds of Grafting Binding Material in the Application of Grafting Camellia oleifera Small Seedlings

Abstract

Using 1-year-old Camellia oleifera container seedlings as root stocks,andCenruan 3superior clones as scion,comparative trial of the aluminum binding grafting and plastic strap binding grafting was conducted in late January.The results showed that two kinds of grafting binding material had no significant difference in survival rate and seedling growth,and the total cost required basically flatted.But the application of aluminum was more convenient and quick,and saved time and effort,so it was recommended as a binding material in C.oleifera small seedlings grafting.
