Abstract
Taking Camellia edithae Hance cv.‘Heimudan'as material, the effect of yellow soil, the mixed-substrate of yellow soil and river sand, peat soil 3different cuttage matrix on average survival rate, average number of shoots and roots of Camellia edithae Hance cv.‘Heimudan'cuttings were compared and studied. The results showed that there were significant differences in cutting survival rate and very significant difference in the number of top sprouting, the average root number, average root length and maximum root length in different substrate. The cutting survival rate, number of top sprouting, average root number, average root length and maximum root length of peat soil was 93.33%,24.33,7.90, 6.47cm and 16.27cm.
