Field-cutting Propagation Techniques for Cinnamomum porrectum(Roxb.) Kosterm
Abstract
Cinnamomum porrectum(Roxb.) Kosterm is a physiological chemistry type, because low fruit, coupled with varying maturity, eat by birds, so it is difficult to pick the fruit, then breeding seedling nursery stock was limited. In order to breed the seedlings of C. porrectum, keep its excellent genetic traits and develop its raw material forests, the researchers of Ji'an City Forestry Research Institute made an field-cutting propagation experiment with three-year-old saplings sprout bars and 17 scion was born in the bud of points at Aug. 2011 and May. 2012, in different seasons, different parts of branches and different amount of left leaf on field. The result indicated that using the leaf of one-year-old sprout and leaving half-leaf, humidity 80%, temperature 25 ℃~ 35 ℃, treatment with 100 mg/kg IBA 18 h, the survival rate were 65%, the highest can up to 76.67%.
