Research Progress on Seed-breeding and Cultivation Utilization of Cinnamomum camphora
Abstract
Cinnamomum camphora is a second class national-level key protected wild plant, in our country, it has a long history of breeding and cultivation. The value of biodiversity protection, medicine and industrial raw materials, and other important role of C. camphora make strengthening breeding and cultivation work for C. camphora as important project of current forestry construction and extraction production of camphor oil. This paper by introducing the basic biological characteristics of C. camphora, starting from the selection process, reproduction technology and afforestation technology of C.camphora and other aspects, the specific countermeasures seed-breeding and cultivation utilization of C. camphora were made for further research and analysis, which will provide references and guidance for breeding work of C. camphora.
