The Research on the Superior Tree Selection and Seed Breeding Technology of Chosenia arbutifolia

Abstract

In this paper,we determined the superior tree selection criteria of Chosenia arbutifolia were diameter at breast height,tree height and tree volume were greater than 5 dominant trees average value of 1. 1 times,1. 12 times and 1. 29 times with the 5 strains of dominant comparative method as the basis. Using the superior tree seeds as material,the seedling test results showed that: the autumn sowing effect was better than that of spring sowing,mixed the seeds with sand before sowing could get the best effect, the seedling emergence rate was more than 90%,to enhance water management was the key to the success of its seedlings in the rooting period.
