One experiment on the controlling of the Lasiognatha cellifera(Meyrick) by the Trichogramma chilonis

Abstract

The parasitism of Lasiognatha cellifera( Meyrick) using Trichogramma chilonis were studied in laboratory. The Lasiognatha cellifera( Meyrick) was conducted by Trichogramma chilonis in mangrove of Qinzhou,Beihai,Fangchenggang of Guangxi Autonomous Region. The results showed that the average effective rate of the biological controlling was 75. 73%,the difference of parasitic rate between treatment and the control was significant. The released number of Trichogramma chilonis was 28 million individuals,the controlled area was 373. 3 acres. Retrieved financial lost was RMB 32. 76 million,the economic benefit was RMB 126. 168 million.
