Comparative and Typological Study of Theoretical Description of Myths and Legends (in Karakalpak Literature of the XIX Century)

Abstract

The article deals with studying theoretical definition of legends in literary criticism and folklore study of the world. Theoretical bases of Karakalpak legends are revealed by means of comparative and typological discussion. Along with it the problems of terminology in Karakalpak literary criticism are defined.
