Abstract

Incorporation of Ta<sup>5+</sup> into the antimony oxide led to an expansion of the pyrochlore structure, and increases in the surface hydroxyl group content of the sorbent, consequently improving the Sr<sup>2+</sup> adsorption capacity considerably.
