MAPPING OF LAND RESOURCES USING GIS IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

Attraction last years in manufacture of maps of land resources created based on digital technologies along with other map graphical products has led to development new generation of information systems -geographical information systems (GIS). It comprises many compound processes, in particular, gathering, the analysis, storage, distribution and computer modeling of the information on land resources, and drawing up of digital maps. The basic original properties of geographically information mapping is automation, systematization, orientation to a definite purpose, efficiency and is a lot of alternativeness.
