Abstract

Multispiral computed tomography in the angiographic mode is relatively a new method in diagnosis of arterial lesions in patients presenting with nonspecific aortoarteritis. With virtually no contraindications to carrying out the examination, this method makes it possible to obtain an exclusively clear-cut picture of the vascular bed in both two- and three-dimensional projection, to correlate it with osseous structures. This method of diagnosis may also be used for dynamic follow up of patients in the postoperative period.
