Abstract

The aim of the study is the selection of polymorphic nuclear microsatellite loci available for population structure analysis of Norway spruce. We tested the microsatellite primers on a 30 Picea abies (L.) Karst. individual plants from three geographically distinct populations of North-West Russia and compared the Polymorphic Information Content (PIC) of chosen markers.
