Automation of Deformed Fibrous Materials Thermal Characteristics Accounting Process in Garments Production
Abstract
Garments are made of textile materials belonging to soft coverings [2]. Such materials are distinguished by their susceptibility to multifactorial strains. This is due to the fact that the covers of garments, as a rule, have a semi-closed shape, which results in a very detailed developed view with multiparameter stress in the layers of materials. At the same time, the designing and then the production of garments with a heat-insulation function use the initial characteristics of bulk materials and parts made of them in a flat layer of the cloth, which inevitably deforms into various shapes. This inevitable transformation of the shape is accompanied by a volume redistribution of the fibrous material and, correspondingly, a change in the basic thermal and physical properties: the density and thermal conductivity, which are at the baseline of all further garment design and production procedures. The processing of the results was automated with software developed to be implemented on the basis of a general automated production system. The developed software to automate the testing of the thermal properties of the fibrous covers deformed into a cylindrical shape is protected by a PC Software Certificate. The research was made at Don State Technical University within the framework of State Assignment of the Ministry of education and science of Russia under the project 11.9194.2017/.
