Abstract

Silver nanoparticles stabilized in a solution of sodium carboxymethylcellulose (Na-CMC) with a degree of substitution of 0.65- 0.85 and degree of polymerization of 200-600 were synthesized. Physical, chemical properties, and antimicrobial activity of films prepared from sodium carboxymethylcellulose solutions containing silver nanoparticles were studied.
