Abstract

The diffusion of salt water from a sewage source into the flowing fresh water of the channel is discussed in the paper. Water pollution distribution along the channel length is investigated and an analytical formula is given to determine the path length of complete mixing of sewage and fresh waters. Molecular diffusion in flowing channel waters is considered.
