The paper studies the equations of motion for the cotton harvesting machine MH-2.4 and the mounted system of the harvesting machine with vertical oscillations, where the hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering the cleaning machines is installed in the middle of the rocking shaft; we assume the rigidity of the rockingshaft is absolute, the left and right harvesting machines fluctuate evenly. The stability of the movement is checked according to the Hurwitz criterion.
